Virtual Psychotherapy in Ontario

Hi, I’m Shawna.

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and relational. This is your place to explore your world with curiosity and compassion, without fear of judgement or doing it “wrong.”

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, overthinking, or a big life transition, you don’t need to have it all figured out before reaching out.

A Space to Pause, Unpack, and Reconnect

Overthinking & Second-Guessing
Exhausted by constant worry or feeling like you have to have everything figured out before asking for support? We’ll look at the patterns driving your stress so you can stop overanalyzing every choice.

Relational & Life Transitions
Navigating big moves, shifting relationships, or high-pressure expectations? Using a relational lens, we look at how your environment and history impact how you feel today.

A Safe Place to Land
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my priority is providing a gentle, non-judgemental space. I hold the space; you are the expert on your life. If you’ve been feeling stressed about what to expect or wondering “what am I supposed to do in therapy?”, please know that you can show up exactly as you are, no preparation needed.

How We Will Move Forward

My practice is grounded in a systemic-relational lens, meaning we acknowledge how your current environment, stress, and relationships impact your well-being.
We focus on what is happening in your life right now. We won’t spend sessions digging into your past unless it’s helpful to you or something you explicitly want to explore. You set the direction and pace of our work, whether that means focusing on practical tools for daily anxiety or making sense of broader life patterns.

Outside of Session

Having been born and raised in Ontario, with seasons spent living in Saskatchewan and British Columbia, I understand firsthand how disorienting and transformative life’s transitions can be.

My decision to become a therapist grew out of a passion for learning how people connect, adapt, and build resilience through life’s biggest shifts. I believe that you don’t need to come to session prepared with a neat agenda or all the answers. My goal is to offer a calm, steady container where you can slow down, drop the overthinking, and find a sense of peace that lasts.

When I’m not in session, I value practicing what I share with clients: taking intentional pauses to step away from the noise. You can usually find me cozying indoors with a warm cup of chai or spending time outside in nature.
