How Anxiety Shows Up in Daily Life:

If find yourself struggling with overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, feeling anxious in relationships, or constant self-doubt, you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy can help you build clarity and confidence.

WELCOME, I’M GLAD YOU’RE HERE.

This is your space to slow down and cultivate a curious and compassionate relationship with yourself.

Hi, I’m Shawna. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my practice focuses on feelings of constant overwhelm that you can’t seem to escape from. It’s common to look like you have it all together on the surface, while secretly carrying feelings of anxiety, self-doubt, and overthinking.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-focused. Together, we will work to uncover the underlying patterns that keep you stuck in overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and relationship anxiety while building trust in yourself. You don’t have to struggle alone.

My Specialties

Life doesn’t have to be full of worry, tension, or constant “what if’s”. Learn tools to ease racing thoughts, calm your body, and feel more present, grounded, and in control of your life.

If you find yourself constantly replaying decisions, second-guessing yourself, and wondering if you are ever ‘enough’ without finding relief, we will work together to address your inner critic, explore the roots of your expectations, and help you build a grounded sense of trust in yourself.

If you often feel out of control, anxious, or disconnected in your relationships, you don’t have to navigate it alone. We will work together to move past people-pleasing, express your needs clearly, and empower you to build meaningful, secure connections.

Whether you’re navigating a new career path, a relocation, or relationship change, transitions can feel overwhelming. We’ll create a safe space to process the uncertainty, and embrace this next chapter with clarity.

If you’re wondering, “What am I supposed to do in therapy?” or feeling stressed about what to expect, please know there is no right or wrong way to show up.

Step 1

Find Steady Ground

You are free to show up exactly as you are. Together, we will explore your experiences through a curious and compassionate lens, addressing immediate overwhelm with practical, actionable tools.

Step 2

Explore The Patterns

Next, we take a compassionate look at what is driving your stress. Together, we’ll wonder about the habits and beliefs that keep you feeling trapped, helping you make sense of your experiences so you can choose a path forward that feels right for you.

Step 3

Implement Change

Therapy isn’t just about surviving your symptoms; it’s about shifting how you relate to yourself. Together, we will discover what change means for you, and seek to build a life that feels lighter, clearer, and more aligned with who you are.

What to expect on our 20-minute consultation call
Going into a new situation feeling unsure of what to expect can be stressful.
To feel confident in taking the next step, this is what our initial consult will look like:
  • A low-pressure space: there won’t be any deep diving into hard things just yet.
  • A space to share: your story and what is bringing you to therapy.
  • Time to ask questions: You can ask me anything about my approach, fees, or how I work.
  • An opportunity to check the vibe: We’ll see if our personalities feel like a comfortable and good fit for each other.
